A WooCommerce store built around the way you sell

I build WooCommerce stores from scratch and move stores from other platforms to WooCommerce. I write the theme myself, with no page builder, so the store is fast and easy to run. Payments, shipping and integrations with your systems are set up so you can simply sell.

About the service

WooCommerce store development

WooCommerce is the most popular e-commerce platform in the world, built on WordPress. You pay no sales commission and no platform subscription, the store is yours, and you can extend it with practically anything: subscriptions, B2B sales or an integration with your ERP system.

A ready-made marketplace theme and a few dozen plugins is the fastest way to a store that is slow and hard to update a year later. That is why I build WooCommerce stores on a theme written from scratch, with as few plugins as possible. Every plugin in the store is there for a reason.

I am based in Warsaw and work remotely with companies across Europe. I build new stores, migrate stores from PrestaShop and rebuild WooCommerce stores left by other contractors.

Who it is for

What clients come to me with

New store

You are starting to sell online

You have products and an idea, and you need a store that works properly from day one: payments, shipping, customer emails and legal compliance.

Migration

You are moving your store to WooCommerce

Your store runs on PrestaShop or another platform and you have had enough of conflicting plugins and an admin panel where nothing is easy to find.

Rebuild

Your WooCommerce store cannot keep up

The store is slow, every update breaks something or the previous contractor has disappeared. I take over existing stores and either clean them up or rebuild them.

Scope

What a WooCommerce store build includes

Every store starts with planning, not with installing plugins. That makes the store easy to grow, and you do not pay for reworking things that could have been foreseen at the start.

Store structure

Categories, attributes and product variants planned around your customers, filtering and search. This decides whether a customer finds the product and how visible the store is in Google.

Cart and checkout design

The product page, cart and checkout are where a store earns or loses customers. I design them so that buying takes as few steps as possible.

Theme written from scratch

No page builder and no heavy marketplace theme. The store is faster and WooCommerce updates do not break the layout.

Payments and shipping

Payment gateways (e.g. Stripe, PayPal, Przelewy24), couriers, parcel lockers, local pickup and cash on delivery. Shipping costs based on weight, cart total or product.

Legal compliance

The lowest price from the last 30 days (EU Omnibus Directive), right of withdrawal, checkout consents and documents attached to the purchase process.

Store SEO

Clean URLs, titles and meta descriptions for categories and products, product structured data (price, availability), so the store looks good in Google results and in AI answers.

Security and backups

Server and permission configuration, security measures in the code, automatic backups of the store and its database.

Testing on staging

The store is built on a test version. Before launch we go through complete orders together: payment, email, invoice, shipment.

Training and care

I show you how to add products, change prices and handle orders. After launch the store stays under my care for 3 months as part of the build.

Integrations

Integrations and features for a WooCommerce store

A store rarely works on its own. I connect WooCommerce with the systems you already use. When there is no ready-made plugin, I write the integration from scratch, for example a SOAP integration with the enova ERP.

Integrations

  • BaseLinker and marketplaces
  • ERP and warehouse systems (e.g. enova)
  • invoicing
  • SMS gateways and notifications
  • newsletter and marketing automation (e.g. MailerLite)
  • couriers and shipping label generation

Features

  • subscriptions and recurring payments (WooCommerce Subscriptions)
  • B2B sales: separate prices for companies
  • multilingual stores and cross-border sales
  • a delivery cost table (my plugin Delivery Table for Flexible Shipping)
  • a free shipping progress bar in the cart
  • custom features written for your sales process

Migration

Migrating a store from PrestaShop to WooCommerce

I have moved many stores from PrestaShop to WooCommerce, and not only small ones. Clients usually say two things: the admin panel is finally clear, because they know what can be changed and where, and the store starts doing better in Google.

During a migration I move products with variants and images, categories, customers and order history. I set up 301 redirects from all the old URLs, so the rankings built up over the years are not lost.

  • import of products, variants and images
  • transfer of customers and orders
  • 301 redirects from the old URLs
  • testing before the domain is switched

Process

How a WooCommerce store is built

  1. Call and brief

I get to know your products, your customers and the way you sell today. We agree which payments, shipping methods and integrations are needed.

  2. Quote and schedule

You get a quote broken down into stages and dates. We also agree what you prepare: photos, descriptions, terms and conditions.

  3. Structure and design

Categories, attributes, the product page and the purchase path. The design goes to you for approval before I start coding.

  4. Coding and integrations on staging

The store is built on a test version. You can click through it and check the progress.

  5. Products and order tests

Importing or adding products, then complete test orders: payment, emails, invoices, shipment.

  6. Launch and care

Moving to production after your approval, training on how to run the store, and care after launch.

Pricing

How much does a WooCommerce store cost

I quote every store individually. The price depends mainly on the number of products and variants, the payment and shipping methods, and the integrations with other systems.

Simple store

Start selling

from €3,500

Up to a few dozen products, standard payments and shipping, no integrations.

Migration

Moving a store

from €4,000

A move from PrestaShop or another platform with SEO preserved.

Net prices. You get a detailed quote after a short call. If you prefer to start right away, select the store features in the quote form and send a brief.

Testimonials

What clients say about working with me

I run an online cosmetics store and I know that at this level of sales, the biggest cost is not the glitch itself but the time when nobody is dealing with it. That is why, when choosing someone to handle the technical side of my store, I looked above all at availability and communication.

Working with Marcin has been a good experience for exactly that reason. I can send a request by email or simply call if something is urgent, and every time I get a concrete answer: what will be done and when. If something more important comes up along the way, priorities can be rearranged without a week of explanations.

Deadlines are kept, and changes to the store are discussed in a language I understand, without hiding behind technical details. I recommend Marcin to anyone who runs an online store and is looking for someone they can rely on day to day, not only for a one-off project.

Our collaboration with Marcin began in uncomfortable circumstances. Our website had been infected with malware and we needed someone to get it under control. The site was cleaned up and secured, and along the way I learned where the problem had come from and what to do so it would not happen again. That is rare, because it usually ends with just removing the symptoms.

We have been working together on an ongoing basis ever since, for several years now. Marcin handles day-to-day changes to the website and implements new things we want to show our clients. I report what is needed and I am told when it will be ready. I do not have to follow up or keep an eye on it.

The biggest value for me is continuity. Marcin knows our website inside out, so we do not start every conversation by explaining how everything works on our side. I recommend him to anyone looking not for a one-off contractor, but for someone to work with for the long term.

FAQ

WooCommerce store - frequently asked questions

I quote every store individually, because the price depends on the number of products and variants, the payment and shipping methods, and the integrations. A simple store starts at €3,500 net, moving a store from another platform at €4,000 net, and a store with integrations (e.g. with an ERP system or BaseLinker) is usually €6,000-8,000 net. I give the exact amount after a short call or after the brief you send through the quote form.

Usually 3-8 weeks after the brief is approved, depending on the scope. Preparing the products and the integrations usually take the most time, so we set the schedule at the start, together with what you deliver and what I deliver.

WooCommerce gives you full control over the store, you pay no sales commission, and the admin panel is simpler than in PrestaShop. Unlike with Shopify, the store is yours and you can develop it without platform limits. I have moved many stores from PrestaShop to WooCommerce, and clients most often say they finally know what they can change and where.

Yes, it is one of the things I do most often. I move products with variants, categories, customers and orders, and set up 301 redirects from the old URLs so that Google rankings are not lost. I do not maintain PrestaShop stores, I only migrate them to WooCommerce.

Popular payment gateways, e.g. Stripe, PayPal or Przelewy24, and shipping: couriers, parcel lockers, local pickup and cash on delivery. Shipping costs can depend on weight, cart total or product shipping class.

Yes. I implement the lowest price from the last 30 days (EU Omnibus Directive), the right of withdrawal, checkout consents and terms and conditions attached to the purchase process. The text of the terms and the privacy policy is prepared by a lawyer or a legal document service, and I implement them in the store.

Yes. You change products, prices, promotions and stock levels in the standard WooCommerce admin panel. At the end I show you how to do it, and you edit page content in the Gutenberg editor.

For 3 months the store is under my care as part of the build: updates, fixes and help with running it. After that you can move to a regular WooCommerce maintenance plan: monthly updates and a pool of hours for changes.
